In general:

50 years in port operation, marine transport, navigation and cargo handling: 16 years at sea - thereof 10 years as Senior Officer. 4 years as Cargo Superintendent, 6 years as Marine Superintendent, now 17 years as independent marine consultant with maritime and port assignments world wide, many of them funded by WB, ADB and EU.

Selected experience in refrigerated cargo transport and handling:

Islanders Board of Industry and Services (IBIS), Queensland: Freight Consultant, Implementation of containerised & refrigerated food transport, land and sea, port facilities and ship to shore transfer.

Australian Food Marketing Centre (AFMC -VUT) Associate - conducting seminars and workshops in conventional / container refrigerated transport and cargo handling of fruit, meat and dairy products.

Australian Chamber of Manufacturers - conducting seminars and workshops in conventional and refrigerated transport and cargo handling. Port infrastructure & conventional reefer ships.

Port of Melbourne Authority, Australia: Trade Development Manager - operation development in integrated rail, truck and marine terminal projects. Conventional refrigerated cargo operations.

Lauritzen Reefers, Denmark: Cargo superintendent. Reefer ship operations, Cargo handling and trouble shooting. Inspection of reefer ships for charter operations. Inspection of port facilities.

Australian Maritime College - Diploma in Maritime Business: Consultant, wrote the study guide for their long distance program: Port operations - Distribution - Types and Technical constraint of ships.
